On Saturday afternoon I met Jill & Heath and a group of their friends at the MN State Fair (the Great Minnesota Get Together) to celebrate TEN years of them attending the Fair together, including nine as a married couple.

Jill and Heath are so.much.fun. Their love, laughter and traditions are contagious.

What I Did Today

This morning I had a session with Baby G., who is now 6 months old (already!).

I just love this one in the wagon …

And this afternoon, it was time for the State Fair! I met up with Jill & Heath, who have a now 10-year-old tradition of attending the Fair as a couple. They have their stops down to a science. I don’t want to give too much away, but here’s a quick peek:

State Fair Sessions

Do you love the Minnesota State Fair as much as I do? I hope so!

To celebrate, I’m offering a discounted session fee ($100) to 2 families who’d like to do a shoot AT The Fair! Wahoo!

Sessions will need to take place in the late afternoon or evening the first Fair weekend (Aug. 28/29).

N. is 11 weeks old, but her due date was just the week before last, June 28. What a miracle!

Seed to Sprout clients J & J came to my studio this weekend for their newborn session with baby Z at just 6 days old! The little guy was 11 days late, and came in at 9 lbs 11 oz. Oh, he is a delicious smush! He was so good for me …

J + J are expecting their first child, a son, next month. They came out to my home studio yesterday for a fun afternoon session. I am so glad it warmed up and finally stopped raining, so that we were able to get some shots outside. (Early evening is such a fun time to shoot.)
