I met up with Katie and Reid in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday for an engagement session. They’re getting married this summer in Katie’s home state of California. A nice, warm California day sounds pretty great right now, as Minnesota will just not hand over Spring. Spring is being held hostage!

Jessica contacted me to take pictures of her and her husband, Jason. I think every couple should have recent photos of themselves. If all the photos you have together involve a white dress and a tux, it’s time for new pictures!

We met up yesterday at the Mill City Museum for a couples’ shoot. Despite forecasts, we ended up with a perfect spring Minnesota day.

My husband came along to schlep my stuff (yay for free help!), and he kept making Jessica laugh. (Love the hazy, sun flare in this one too.)

We even popped into the Guthrie for some indoor shots as well. A little arty, but I loved how this came out:
