Julia  and Tripp were wed on Saturday at Roswell River Landing in Georgia. It was a beautiful day, despite the sprinkles and clouds. It was a doubly special day for me, as not only was this my first foray into wedding photographer, but Julia happens to be my stepsister. It was a wonderful day.

Julia and Tripp opted to see each other prior to the ceremony, which I am in full favor of. It gives the bride and a groom a chance to connect privately, and it helps calm those nerves!

Last week Baby A. became the first client I photographed in my home. I always thought that our guest room had really beautiful afternoon light, and now I have the proof:

Sweet little A. was due the last week of April, but he decided to hang on a little bit longer and be a May baby. So a week after our tentatively-scheduled session, I finally got to meet A.!

He wasn’t too sleepy at the start of things…

But after a few feedings and lots of rocking and snuggling (my favorite part!), we got him nice and dozy. . .
