And last but not least, his adoring parents. (Is it any wonder he’s such a cutie?)

More to come from our recent session!

Miss Marlo — 4 months old

November 17, 2009

All of the babies I photograph are special. They’re uniquely created and uniquely loved, and I consider it a true honor and pleasure to capture them as they are in those fleeting moments. But I will confess that to me Miss Marlo is extra special.

Last month two of my dear friends flew from Atlanta to Dallas, Texas, to meet their little girl and bring her home. Going through their pictures, I am overwhelmed with God’s goodness and how he has a plan for us all. It’s so obvious that this little baby was made for her parents and that they were made just for her. I cry every time I think of it.

So without further blubbering on my part, Marlo’s first Johanna Price Photo session.

First, the handsome Huffs …

Chris & Al’s friend, AB Chao, came to town the weekend prior to decorate Marlo’s nursery. Amazing, right?

Marlo loves her mama! (Also, can you believe those eyes?!)

And if you’re overwhelmed by the cuteness, here’s a little something to push you over the edge …

One of my first newborn clients came back to visit me this weekend. He has grown so much!

(All of A.’s images were shot in my home studio.)

I just love his cheeks and his sweet, serious expressions …

Leader of the pack …

I just love this one …

We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous Fall day (probably one of our last!), which meant we could go outside for a few shots too. The sun is setting early, but I’m loving the light.

Thank you P. family for coming out to see me again! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

August –  a senior at Champlin Park High School — is also my husband’s little brother. We met up last week for a senior session near the Mississippi River. (I have to say — Minnesota has a lot of great outdoor locations for photo shoots!)

All of the Price guys have killer blue eyes!

I loved the texture of the graffiti …

August is an awesome guitar player … (Also, I love my 50 1.4! Bokehlicious.)

Seriously. Those blue eyes!

Are you graduating in 2010? Because we’re heading into winter here in the great white north, senior sessions will resume in the spring. Contact me today, because those spots will go fast!

Seed to Sprout clients Angie & Phil welcomed their son O. to the world on October 24. (Only a mere 8 days after his due date, the stinker!)

He was oh so sweet, I almost didn’t want to put him down in order to take his picture! (I have to tell you a secret. I love babies. And I especially love newborns. They’re so tiny and cuddly and they smell so sweet. It is so much fun to photograph them, but I like holding and snuggling them is just as much fun.)

He didn’t sleep for me at all (not even a wink!), but he was happy and content during the entire shoot.

This picture reminds me of those old commercials … “Whatchu doin’?” “Nothing. Just chillin’.” He’s just chillin in his nursery, a happy swaddled boy:

Thank you for having me out S. family. I look forward to seeing you again in six months!
